My Favorite Cue? Slightly Off-Screen Chaos

You know what I love narrating? 

Colorful "CHAOS" sign with lights against a clear blue sky, part of a carnival ride. The mood is vibrant and lively.

Moments where everything’s falling apart — but quietly, and just off-screen. “She side-eyes the fire. Calmly.” “He walks into a wall. No one reacts.”


There’s something weirdly satisfying about describing the ridiculous with a totally straight delivery. That’s the beauty of Audio Description. You get to say, “He sips from a clearly empty cup,” and trust the audience will feel it. Deadpan meets description. My favorite combo.
