If It Has a Video, It Needs Audio Description

When information lives on-screen instead of in the words, description is what turns a video into communication instead of guesswork.

Yellow industrial door with a porthole, metal handle, and a button panel. Text reads "Monte-charge max. 500 kg." Bright and simple.

Have you ever watched a video where the explanation only makes sense if you can see the screen?

Someone says “right here.”

Or “this part.”

Or “you’ll notice.”

And if you can’t see it, you’re suddenly guessing.

That’s the gap audio description fills.

It doesn’t change the message.

It doesn’t slow things down.

It just makes sure everyone gets the same information at the same time.

Once you notice that moment, you start seeing it everywhere.

And once you see it, adding audio description feels less like an extra step

and more like finishing the thought.

A white square with no visible subjects, actions, or text; minimalistic and blank, evoking a sense of simplicity and emptiness.
