This is the wildest part about audio description: my voice has reached millions of people who don’t know my name and don’t see my face. The latest? Elton John. Disney+. Me, narrating scenes that mix sequins, sunglasses, and stadiums full of fans. It’s strange and kind of wonderful, being the voice that helps people experience something iconic. I love it.
